By creating an account, accessing, or using AutoPay Platform ("AutoPay", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AutoPay Platform Ltd, a company incorporated in Nigeria.

AutoPay is a scheduling and orchestration layer only. Actual payment execution is performed by Paystack Co. Ltd, a licensed Payment Service Provider regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). AutoPay does not hold, move, or custody funds at any time.

AutoPay is not liable for losses arising from your failure to maintain account security or your failure to maintain sufficient funds.
By scheduling a payment and completing the authorisation step (Paystack mandate), you are:
You may cancel a scheduled payment at any time before its execution date via your dashboard. Once a payment has been executed, it cannot be reversed through AutoPay — you must contact your bank or the beneficiary directly.
If a scheduled payment fails (due to insufficient funds, bank downtime, or other reasons), AutoPay will:
AutoPay is not liable for consequences arising from failed payments, including but not limited to late fees, penalties, contract breaches, or service disconnections caused by unpaid bills.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate your account and report you to relevant authorities if we detect prohibited use.
During the private beta period, AutoPay is free to use. A ₦50 mandate verification charge is applied when linking a payment schedule — this confirms your bank account is valid and is not a service fee.
When paid plans launch, we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any pricing changes to existing users.
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, AutoPay's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to AutoPay in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by a regulatory authority.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rivers State, Nigeria.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
